Age-restricted products

When you scan a DVD, lottery, tobacco, or alcohol product, the system gives a double beep, and a target age is displayed on the screen.

If the customer meets the Think 25 criteria or can show proof of age that satisfies the till operator, press Accept and Not asked for example and continue with the transaction, by scanning the next product, or using a hotkey.

If the customer cannot satisfy the till operator that they are allowed to buy the product, the till operator can press Reject. When the Reject button is selected, another page will open giving the operator three options No ID, Drunk, Abusive. When a button is pressed the transaction will be cancelled and a refusal receipt will automatically print.
