Baking for Macmillan

Macmillan provide services for people with cancer – providing emotional, practical and physical support for individuals and their families, healthcare workers and employers Additionally they fundraise to help research into cancer care and advocate for cancer sufferers through their influence with decision makers.

We believe that Macmillan fulfil an essential role so we were delighted to get behind the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning campaign, don our aprons and get baking!

You can see some of the amazing bakes in the photos but I can personally recommend Laura’s millionaire’s shortbread (which disappeared in the first hour), the lemon drizzle cake by Kelvyn and Chantelle’s Marshmallow Chocolate Cake! They were all delicious – which accounts for the high amount raised – we’re very proud to announce our total funds came to £297! Thank you for everyone!
