Macmillan provides extensive physical, emotional, financial, and practical support to people affected by cancer. They offer expert cancer advice through a support line, website, and in person, provide specialist resources for healthcare professionals, and fund research, and public awareness campaigns.
On 25th September, the ShopMate team swapped spreadsheets for scones and tills for teacups, as we come together to host a special Macmillan Coffee Morning.
Our team will be baking, bringing, and of course buying a whole range of cakes, biscuits and savoury treats to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support—a charity that does incredible work providing vital support for people living with cancer and their families.
It’s a simple idea with a big impact: put the kettle on, share something sweet, and help raise money for a cause that touches so many lives. Whether it’s a showstopping sponge or a humble packet of biscuits, every contribution counts—and every slice shared means more support for those who need it most.
We’re looking forward to a table full of goodies, plenty of cups of tea, and, most importantly, the chance to raise as much as we can for Macmillan. A huge thanks in advance to everyone who will bake, bring or buy—your generosity and enthusiasm is what makes events like this so successful.
