A number of sponsored prizes were awarded yesterday to the winners in each round (except round 2 which was a draw) Shaun “The Slice” Robson won round 1, Pete “Popeye” Fuller won rounds 3 and 4 and was declared the overall winner. Mark “Chunk” McDonald won the “nearest to the pin” prize at 74cm. Jac “DoJo” De Wet was awarded the wooden spoon – but also won the prize for the longest drive. The prize for highest points on a single hole was won by Ian “Mr Christmas” Wharam.
The team also presented flowers to their support team Claire “Not a Camper” Lawrence and Bryony “Stealth Baker” Walton who kindly provided breakfast and lunch along with hot tea and coffee from a camp kitchen after the first and second games.
Organiser Shaun “The Slice” Robson said “We had an absolutely amazing day – by the end of the fourth round we were tired but there was a real energy from the team – I’m really proud of them all - we can’t wait to go do it again!”
