When Mrs Kaur took over Langtoft Post Office six years ago, she brought with her a strong sense of community, a keen eye for local products, and a drive to keep moving the business forward. Today, that same energy is helping her team embrace the future with the latest upgrade to ShopMate 360 and integrated ShopMate Pay.


“We love the new till,” says Mrs Kaur. “It’s bold, easy to read, and simple to understand – even for the team members who’ve never used a till like this before.” The team at Langtoft includes five full- and part-time staff, aged from 16 to 58. Despite the range in experience, nobody needed any training to get started. Langtoft Post Office is well known locally for its strong focus on local lines – and Mrs Kaur’s own homemade curries are a particular highlight. Supplied to nearby businesses and sold in-store as fresh and frozen ready meals, they’re a customer favourite. “Adding new products to the till is simple,” she says. “It means we can keep trying new things and see what works.”
And when support is needed? “The ShopMate team are brilliant,” she says. “They always sort things quickly, and they explain everything really clearly.”
After six years at the heart of Langtoft village, Mrs Kaur is still finding new ways to grow her business – and with ShopMate 360 by her side, she’s confident the store is ready for whatever comes next.
